What a lovely time we had. The staff were so kind and welcoming. They were not serving food the evening we stayed, but kindly advised good places to eat and said we could eat our takeaway curry there. We were given plates and cutlery. As we sat in the garden to listen to the band, they were about to sing their last song. We voiced our disappointment at this and then the band agreed to carry on to entertain us whilst we stuffed our faces. How lovely! A great atmosphere with the locals and staff deserving an after duty pint! Room was beautiful. Breakfast delicious. We had a lovely stay. Thank you. Jenny and Daz xx
Great hotel, especially if visiting clock barn wedding venue, 4 minutes drive away. Rooms clean and tidy, bathroom and shower good. Didn't have breakfast but looked good. Parking directly outside room with quite a few spaces or on street parking available right outside. Staff friendly and helpful. Comfy bed, room has kettle and tv with tea and coffee supplied.

I had a chicken cesarean salad and it was perfect. A friendly pub, great place to have q drink and have a game of pool! Will be back to catch some live music
Booked a room for one night, double bed with shower loo and sink. My room was not wheelchair accessible. Other rooms maybe but I did not check. It was clean and smartly decorated. TV, normal kettle and sachets of tea coffee and hot chocolate. Breakfast was extra to the room, but was tasty and well cooked, cereals were also available.
This is a fantastic pub, especially at the weekends when the entertainment is top-notch. It’s always a great night out with family/friends, thanks to the lively crowd and outstanding service from the staff. I’d definitely recommend this place if you’ve never been before. I haven’t stayed in the rooms, so I can’t comment on those, but we’ve eaten here several times and the food has always been good—classic pub grub at great value. A solid choice for a fun and friendly night out

It's in a great, central location and looks grand enough from the outside but the hotel is showing its age inside. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was Spartan but clean. I was surprised that there was no wardrobe so I couldn't unpack my clothes.
